Closing the female funding gap
Only 2% of global investment goes to female founders — and even less to women of color. This gap isn’t about talent or ambition. It’s about structural barriers. Many women lack access to financial knowledge, pitching skills, and supportive financial institutions. At the same time, banks and investors often lack diversity and fail to understand their specific needs. These challenges reinforce each other — and keep women from growing their businesses. #SheFUND exists to change that.
Created in 2023 by #SheDIDIT, #SheFUND was born from a clear need: talented women entrepreneurs were ready to grow, but access to capital and funding knowledge was holding them back. Unlike traditional microcredit, #SheFUND combines funding with coaching. We offer accessible loans (€1,000–€10,000), interest-free, with a strong focus on social impact and growth aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Beyond funding, we equip women with essential skills in pitching and financial management — helping them unlock bigger opportunities ahead.
Closing the funding gap isn’t just fair — it’s smart economics. When women succeed, they don’t just grow their businesses — they help build a stronger, more diverse economy.
